April 13th

Nutrition: Everyone needs it and your body will love you if you eat the right things to fuel it and keep it healthy. Vitamins are very important too and there has been lots of talk lately about Vitamin D & D3. It's true, Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that's essential for many body functions, including normal bone growth & development.In addition to it's well known role in calcium absorbtion, vitamin D may support many area of health including Cardiovascular,cognitive, neurological, blood sugar, breast, colon, thyroid, joints and more. That's why it is so important for kids to consume the daily values in the range of 200 iu to 400 iu is recommended. We all know that we can get a good amount of vitamin D from the sun which the skin absorbs but in the winter months the sun isn't as strong here in the North East and we must take a supplement. so get outdoors as much as you can and take your supplements and think of Nutrition as a good thing because it is in so many ways.
